New Developments In Wireless Diagnostic And Troubleshooting Tools for the Transit Bus and the Transit Industry 2000-01-3505
There have been some new developments in wireless diagnostic tools for the Transit Bus and the Transit Industry. These tools are being developed at I/O Controls for use by mechanics and technicians. It is expected that the use of these tools will bring about some improvements in the amount of time that is spent during troubleshooting on the transit bus. The I/O Controls Dinex Link incorporates a suite of these tools in the form of software on a hand-held PC, along with the RF wireless link and a security protocol. This paper describes the Dinex Link System.
