Consumption of Drinkable Water in the Industrial Processes: Trinomial - Six Sigma, Citizenship and Environmental 2001-01-3969
The Ford Motor Company Brasil - São Bernardo do Campo plant is provisioned by three sources producing of drinkable water: internal artesian wells, water of the public net and bought water of matters through trucks. The water consumed by the plant has biological and technological use. We will just concentrate on the technological or industrial water.
The productive process of vehicles generates in some stages of the Painting, composed residues basically for: unpolishes, phophastes, oils and dyed cataforetica that are discarded to the system and driven by the water until the Station of Treatment of the company.
The Station of Treatment improves the industrial water to assist the article 19 A (CETESB - Government organization for the environmental) and it discards it in the public sewer. We used to the methodology Six Sigma from August, 2000 to February, 2001 to identify the main generating causes of the effect – residues/sludge. We can follow the equation below:
