Systematic Rotation Methodology According to the Concept of Lean Manufacturing 2004-01-3424
This paper describe a systematic rotation methodology developed and implemented in 2003 by the Visteon Chassis Manufacturing Team, which were applied concepts of lean manufacturing and ergonomics standards. It also shows the advantages that the companies could obtain, using it to solve the most of the problems that professionals have faced with the size and complexity of the production lines.
To sum up, this Project provides lessons learned of how to improve the manufacture team performance, applying the systematic rotation methodology. This knowledge aid the leaders to achieve the excellence production rates and ergonomic work conditions.
