Parts Communization Solutions in Automotive Supplying 2008-36-0113
This work intends to present one of the several ways to manage these productivity gains, communizing parts with ideas given from the supplier. Nowadays, the costumers on automotive industry manage to reduce the products complexity by its own engineering departments. There shall be presented the supplier capacity on proposing this communization based not only on its own production line information, but, also, based on the part application knowledge in the final product. Then, when these two lines of thought complete themselves, the solutions proposed have a lower supplier cost impact and a higher gain on complexity reduction to the costumer.
