Development of Electronic Controlled Four Wheel Drive Vehicle by Using Performance Analysis Tool 2009-01-1361
Sports Utility Vehicle(SUV) is growing in popularity in these days. Four wheel drive (4WD) system on SUVs are required optimal torque distribution to improve powerful traction and handling stability. In the same time, driveline NVH and durability must be considered. In order to meet this requirement, optimal torque control strategy is researched and proved by developing analytical measuring tool. This paper also shows various case studies with data analysis and mining concerned with 4WD development issue. By using 4WD performance analysis tool, test and tuning was carried out efficiently and quickly
