Abstract:

Electric & Electronic testing and simulation techniques are becoming widely used in automotive field to ensure higher quality and cope with dramatic shrink in projects schedule and budget. These techniques, although powerful, are not used to their full potential by combining their strengths without their weaknesses. In this paper, we propose a new approach to bridge the gap between simulation and testing by using cooperatively and simultaneously a simulated and a physical bench for ECU validation. Our methodology is based on sharing same test data and test plans between both validation environments.
