Abstract:
In order to reduce carbon dioxide emission which is a cause of the environmental problem, in particular, global warming, hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, and the like have been developed and come into use in the market. These vehicles are equipped with motors as driving force and an inverter for controlling thereof, and in order to efficiently control the inverter, a current sensor for detecting a three-phase AC current with high accuracy is desired. We have been developing high-accuracy high current detecting technology specialized in the current sensor for an inverter, based on the technology of magnetic sensors and magnetic circuits established in the technical field of the rotational sensors and the displacement sensors for automobiles. This report shows the performance measurement result of the magnetic sensor which is a key technology and the examined result of a magnetic circuit which is hardly affected by the positional variation of a magnetic sensor or the disturbance magnetic field created by other-phase current and is developed utilizing uniquely established simulation method.
