Abstract:
CNC (Computerized numerical Control) technologies find increased applications in areas such as complex air frame alignment tooling, highly accurate robot control, additive machining, fiber placement, tape laying, as well as traditional complex 5-axis machining. This evolution in design and assembly technologies has led to the CNC playing a substantially more significant role in Aerospace In parallel the CNC along with other automation controls is an integral part of the digital thread which links product design, production planning, engineering, execution and services.
