FIREBIRD III GENERAL ARRANGEMENT AND BODY DESIGN 590198

The over-all design of Firebird III is presented as an integration of appearance and aerodynamic requirements with the structural and performance characteristics of a number of advanced devices. Among them are Unicontrol, a new regenerative gas turbine, and an auxiliary power unit. Human factors and aesthetic design points are discussed with a view to their effect on the total car.
