THE CHARACTERISTICS OF BATTERIES FOR SMALL ENGINE APPLICATIONS 610424

The electrical characteristics of several types of small batteries designed for starting applications on small (½ to 10 Horse Power) engines are reviewed, with a comparison made between these batteries and those designed for Motor Cycle service. A relationship between these characteristics and performance in driving an engine are shown. Factors in charging and general handling of the batteries are discussed.
