The use of chemicals to control weeds and brush along roadsides is discussed. The type of chemical used depends on the problem to be solved. Several soil sterilants used to control weed and grass growth are mentioned, as are chemicals for the elimination of broadleaf weeds and for roadside brush. The application of various chemicals is described.
