This paper covers the design, development, and testing of a new product design of a stand-up model fork lift truck, which began in 1961 and was completed in late 1963. They are a production product line now, and are offered in load capacities of:
Model MSA20 - 2000 lb at 15 in. load center.
Model MSA25 - 2500 lb at 15 in. load center.
Design objectives are outlined in relation to the final product design. Also detailed are certain development problems which were encountered.
