Our Experience with the Jet Freighter 640540

In the paper the author gives us the benefit of TCA's experience of fourteen months of operating the Douglas DC-8F combined passenger/cargo jet liner.
TCA's experience suggests that the jet liner per se has produced no new problems but has highlighted many of the problems that have plagued the airlines for years.
Mr. McLellan suggests that the airline industry as a whole must work together in solving some of these difficulties in the areas of cargo processing, ground handling and overall load control and load planning.
