A Propane-Natural Gas Fuel System for Gas Turbines 650500

Combustion tests utilizing liquid propane have successfully demonstrated that this fuel can be burned in a natural gas turbine combustion system, provided the liquid does not vaporize in the fuel nozzle.
Procedures for nozzle design are given and modifications of the existing natural gas fuel system for dual-fuel application are discussed.
