A Synopsis of Cold Weather Operation Problems of Engine Powered Equipment Experienced in the Northern States and Border Areas of Canada 650935
Cold weather operations problems of engine powered equipment are discussed. The topics treated include cooling systems and antifreezes; fuels and fuel systems; lubricants, greases, gear oils, crankcase and hydraulic oils; and materials and mechanical and electrical systems. The correct winterizing procedures for each item are detailed, and particular emphasis is placed on maintenance errors to avoid.
