This paper describes certain aspects of the Kestrel (P-1127) Tripartite V/STOL Program which commenced Jan. 1, 1962. The aspects described include the purpose of the Program, a brief chronology, a description of the test aircraft, the organization of the test unit, the scope of the operational trials, and selected results and conclusions of the trials.
