Development and Application of a Logistic Simulation Model 670647
This paper describes the development and application of a Monte Carlo simulation model which simulates operation of a complex logistic system. The model was developed for use in the management of low density Army missile systems, but the technique is applicable to other areas as well. The model provides a technique for measuring the effect of changes in reliability, maintainability, and logistic support on system availability. This paper discusses the development, operation, results, and potential application of the model.
