Heat Dissipating Capacity of Automotive I. C. Engine Lubricating Oil System 690470

A method to evaluate the heat dissipating capacity of the lubricating oil system of the automotive internal combustion engine has been developed.
By introducing new parameters that control the heat dissipation of the lubricating oil system, it becomes possible to evaluate the heat dissipating capacity of the lubricating oil system by bench test.
In this paper, the method and some results obtained by applying it to an engine are described.
