The 920 and 930—The Design of Two New Wheel Loaders 690607
The Ackerman steered 922 and 944 was replaced with two new articulated wheel loaders.
This paper deals with the steps taken to achieve the design objectives, and presents a general description of the two machines. The 920 weighs 16,000 lb and has a 1-1/2 yd capacity, and the 930 is 18,500 lb with 1-3/4 yd capacity.
