Challenges and Problems in a Truck Diagnostic Center 760836

Although the utilization of diagnostics in automotive service is certainly nothing new, heavy duty truck service on the other hand presents a significantly different challenge for the service center, as well as the diagnostic equipment manufacturer.
There exists today and for the foreseeable future, a broad area of potential for diagnostics for both a truck service and sales operation. It is the purpose of this paper to examine these specific areas including their beneficial potential, as well as the related problem considerations that are equally significant.
The information presented is based on the personal experience of the writer, along with his association with and observance of truck service centers and other automotive service facilities utilizing diagnostic equipment.
