The Effects of Plating on Torque/Tension Relationship and Vibration Resistance 800452
Alternatives to cadmium plating on fasteners are investigated from the point of view of cost, corrosion resistance, torque/tension relationships and vibration resistance.
Conclusions show that these are inter-related and point to the direction to be taken dependant on the criteria of the fastened joint under consideration.
