A Multiprocessor Information System for Bus Vehicles 850305
The paper concerns the design of a complete electronic management system for bus vehicles thus translating previous experiences acquired on the car field.
In particular, the structure and type of functions integrated in the system have to be chosen to enable a better information management and an easier bus-user interface are discussed, describing a prototype development.
The main objectives are:
1)
Electric wiring plant simplification by substituting electromechanical components with electronic ones.
2)
Availability, due to electronics, of new control and safety functions.
