LITHIUM BATTERIES ARE IMPLEMENTED IN ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND SERVE AS A BACKUP TO MEMORIES OR A MAIN POWER SOURCE IN INSTRUMENTS USED IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY. THIS CHEMISTRY COMBINES THE HIGHEST PACKAGED DENSITY OF ANY COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE SYSTEM WITH A WORKING VOLTAGE OF APPROXIMATELY 3.6 VOLTS, OUTSTANDING STORAGE CAPABILITY, LOW SELF-DISCHARGE RATES EVEN AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES UP TO 85°C.
