Application of an Industrial Data Logger in Conjunction with a Personal Computer for Towboat Engine Monitoring and Analysis 860877
This paper describes the various applications of an industrial grade data logger used in conjuction with a personal computer for the Inland Waterways community, in particular, towboat engine monitoring and analysis. The data logger is the FLUKE 2280B/2285B manufactured by John Fluke Mfg. Co., Inc. The personal computer is the IBM/PC or compatible equipped with 256K RAM, an RS-232C serial communications port, 512K bubble memory (hard disk emulator), parallel printer and a monochrome or color video monitor supporting graphics.
