Anti-Lock Brake Systems for Passenger Cars -- State of the Art 1985 865139
Several 4-wheel anti-lock systems have been fully developed and gone into regular production within the last decade - concrete proof of the marketability of this product, which has never been doubted by automotive engineers anyway. In this report, the characteristic features of ten anti-lock brake systems are compared, using a systematic approach specially developed for this purpose. An objective comparison of effects could not be made because it would have required appropriate test results which were not available for this investigation. The report closes with a brief outlook on forthcoming developments.
