Abstract:
The paper will discuss a design concept for the Ferryable Integrated Ground Support Unit (FIGSU) in support of the F-16 and similar fighter aircraft. Topics covered will include a brief summary of Developmental Sciences' aviation ground power systems integration experience, FIGSU design trade-offs, system capabilities and limitations. The paper will also present a layout of the pods and components selected to meet the mission requirments.
