Optimization of Catalyst Systems with Emphasis on Precious Metal Usage 872096
The optimization of catalyst systems includes the variation of the content and combination of the precious metals used, catalyst production technology, especially selection of the promoters and washcoat preparation as well as substrate properties.
The first study shows the effect of the Pt/Rh-ratio on the performance of the catalysts.
The second objective was to demonstrate the progress done by means of promotor technology and washcoat preparation for the European catalysts.
The third study deals with the effect of precious metal concentration on catalyst performance and finally shows that it can be reduced from 50 g/cuft to 40 g/cuft.
