On Technological Co-Ordination Between Heat Treatment and Machining in Mass Production 891205
Heat treatment plays a very important role in machine building
industry. This role can be further strengthened through proper
co-ordination between heat treatment and machining processes in
mass production and more merits such as the improved machinability
of materials, the decreased deformation caused by heat treatment
and aging, the reducted machining stock and cost of parts cost as
well as the stabilized dimensional accuracy of the parts in service
etc. can be obtained.
This paper illustrates the above points and offers the methods
for attaining these merits.
