Enhancement of Power Characteristics and Economy of Aeolus Eq-140c Trucks for Plateau Service 891282
Several modifications are provided for restoring the power
output and the fuel consumption of Aeolus 140 truck operated in
Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau area. The altitude compensation device and
the plateau carburetor which automatically adjust air/fuel ratio
for engine charging with various altitudes are introduced in
particular.
A turbocharger installed on the gasoline engine is recommended
as the truck operates in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau area well over 3,000
meters above sea level. Matching the carburetor with the ignition
system is suggested.
