The Effect of Oxygen Content on Rolling Contact Fatigue Life of 20CrMoH Steel 891376
This paper deals with effect of oxygen content on rolling contact fatigue life of 20CrMoH steel, When the oxygen content in 20CrMoH is reduced from 45 ppm to 20 ppm, the total amount of oxides has decreased by 70%. After carbonitriding treatment, under 2940 MPa Hertz stress, the rolling contact fatigue life has increased by about 50%.
