Design and Application Evaluation of an Innovative Cooling System in Medium and Heavy Trucks 892469
In response to competitive commercial pressures exerted on the North American Original Equipment Truck Manufacturers by a worldwide truck market, the need existed to review the cooling system solutions utilized in medium and heavy trucks. The result of this review generated a design and application effort known as The Ad-Tech Program. In its fundamental configuration, the result of this program, the Ad-Tech System, is an innovative substitution for the traditional bolted radiator used in heavy trucks. The innovative concepts, with minor modification, can be advantageously cascaded into efficient medium truck cooling solutions as well.
