High Performance Polyurea RIM for Automotive Body Panels 900285

Continued development of Reinforced Reaction Injection Molded (RRIM) polyurea polymers and processing for exterior vertical body panels has increased their acceptance for integration into automotive assembly lines. These developments allow the automotive O.E.M. to take advantage of the unique features of plastic body panels while simultaneously reducing part costs. This paper will address recent advances in polyurea RRIM technology and the means to accommodate plastic body panels for automotive use.
