The new research car of Volkswagen the IRVW Futura (IRVW = Integrated Research Volkswagen) is very compact, easy maneuverable, extremely economical in its fuel consumption and is outfitted with many components which enhance environmental compatibility, comfort and safety.
Highlights of its technique are a direct injection gasoline engine as well as automatic parking ability, the information concept which offers the driver information in such a way that overtaxing is avoided, a child seat for children from three to eleven years of age which is an integral part of the normal rear seat and a speed dependent distance warning between the vehicle and the vehicle ahead.
