Review of French Cosmonauts Training Aspects Related to Activities in Mir Station Environment 911536
This paper will introduce the aspects of French cosmonauts training related to crew operations and activities in the MIR station environment. It will describe the operations environment which had been experienced by the cosmonauts during the course of training and on-board activities. This paper reviews also to some extent training aspects of specific programmes like SPACE SHUTTLE / SPACELAB and compares relevant phases of their training requirements.
I appreciate very much the guidance of Dr. KHINE who has supported to realize this paper for this specific conference.
The content of this paper is based upon the study performed by the author in april 1990 on the “ARAGATZ” training.
