The Influence of Boundary Conditions on the Vibration Transmission Properties of Tires 931280

The influence of boundary conditions on the vibration transmission properties of tires is investigated in this paper. It is shown that these properties can be represented by a basic set of transfer functions of the free tire-wheel system. Using the modal synthesis method, the vibration transmission of tires subjected to various boundary conditions can be derived from this basic set of transfer functions.
