Abstract:
A simulation model to the Guarulhos Airport is being developed to analyze its airside capacity. The goal of this work is to study the airport behavior under hard traffic conditions and to consider the viability of modifications such as alterations in the airport operational policy, implementation of new passenger terminals and runways, etc. These modifications will become imperative because of the demand growth. Some results are presented here.
