Ultra-Low-Maintenance Nickel-Cadmium Battery Development Program 940004

Saft introduces a new range of Ultra Low Maintenance Nickel-Cadmium batteries for aircraft. Product designs for select military and civil aircraft have been developed, qualified by independant official labs and flight tested during 1992 and 1993. This improved battery product line named Ultra Low Maintenance or ULM features on most applications drastically extended maintenance free periods and interchangeability with current products while being more powerful and lighter weight.
