Decreasing Energy Expenditures for Warming Engines Before Ignition 940076
Efficiency of electrical power use for engines preheating under winter conditions is determined by heater capacity and its operating regime as well as intershift storage conditions and engines adaptability towards these conditions.
This paper presents heater capacity determination method as well as operating regime that have been worked by the authors. This method is based upon regularities that explain the engine temperatures change process.
This presented method provides a guidance for power consumption reduction.
