Not that financial resources are ever unlimited, but it is usually the case that Boeing, Beech, or Cessna would be somewhat more financially prepared to conduct a structural demonstration test on one of their designs than would the developer of a homebuilt or kit aircraft.
This brief paper is presented for the purpose of sharing the approach that one such developer took in addressing his desire to conduct a safe, low-cost static test of a wing.
