Service Bay Productivity Technician Training What is the connection?Training provides technicians with diagnostic and/or service skills and knowledge. It is assumed that technicians will transfer newly learned skills and knowledge to the work place, resulting in improved performance and increased service bay productivity.Therefore, training must: deliver the need-to-know skills and knowledge. convince learners to utilize learned skills and knowledge in the workplace. Furthermore, the business unit must: require that learned skills and knowledge be applied on the job. reward positive changes in behavior. Properly designed, delivered and supported training will result in improved performance and productivity.
