Strategy for Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) 2001-01-3976

In order to optimize the logistics processes, our strategy is to outsource the logistics operations (internal/external logistics).
The company that is the single contact and manages all logistics services is called “Lead Logistics Providers”, responsible to manage various logistics operations across the entire supply chain.
Outsourcing the logistics operations to a specialized company, optimizes the process in what regards:

    Simplicity;

    Implementation speed and
  3. 3.
    Service with improved quality
The logistics provider concept implementation started at Ford South America Operations in 1995 when a company was selected to manage the imported material of the Car Assembly Plant located in São Paulo. For the Amazon Program (Complexo Industrial Nordeste), a single company was elected to manage the logistics processes site wide.
