A Service Oriented Integration Framework for Blow Molded Automotive Parts Design and Optimization 2004-01-1244
During the past three years, a Web and agent based distributed software environment called WebBlow was developed by our team to integrate blow molding process simulation, performance simulation and optimization algorithms. In order to utilize the widely available computational resources that are distributed over the Internet, this paper presents our recent work on the development of a loosely coupled service oriented integration framework for blow molded automotive parts design and optimization. Software agents, Web services and workflow are the main technologies used in this framework. A prototype is being implemented to demonstrate the integration of WebBlow agents and blow molding design optimization Web services.
