Virtual Experimental Design (VED) for Upstream Robust Design 2005-01-0815

Virtual experimental design (VED) is a newly-developed and time-efficient methodology to analyze and improve design robustness at upstream development stages. For efficient improvement of design robustness, virtual experimental design applies statistical design of experment (DOE) methods in conjunction with automated computer simulations at upstream product development stages.
