A Study on the Fault Tolerant Methods for the Control Software of Automatic Mechanical Transmission 2005-01-1367

Software fault tolerant technique is an important means to improve the reliability of Automatic Mechanical Transmission (AMT) control system. In the paper, the fault tolerant characteristics of AMT control software were introduced. Based on that, three kinds of fault tolerant methods suitable for AMT control software, including software redundancy, software anti-disturbance, fault diagnosis and disposal for sensors and actuators, were put forward and explained in detail. All these methods were applied to the software development of AMT test vehicle. The contrastive test shows that the application of fault tolerant methods can provide the AMT control software with more reliability.
