ROLLING RESISTANCE FORCE MEASURING 2007-01-2632

The purpose of this work is to make a system for to measure the rolling force using a tire and a moving belt. The starting point is to establish study arguments as tire pressure, camber, divergence, convergence and steering knuckle force. The low cost made equipment allows the angles adjustment, and applied load on the wheel axis. The rolling resistance between tire and the moving belt in different speeds is measured using a load cell especially developed for the dynamic measurement. The system is able to measure under a diversity of conditions, offering results for tires choices and suspensions project.
