An Engineering Alternative to Statistically Designed Acceptance Tests 2012-01-0205
There are several fundamental problems with statistically designed acceptance tests. Two of the largest problems are the inability to obtain a random sample and the tendency of these tests to reject designs that do not significantly exceed reliability requirements. This paper explores the problems with statistically designed acceptance tests and offers an alternative.
