AIRCRAFT GAS TURBINES with CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSORS 460239

ALONG with further improvements in the form of increased flow and pressure ratio for gas turbines with centrifugal compressors, the author looks forward to an improvement in efficiency, this latter factor being more important in gas turbines than in aircraft turbosuperchargers.
As an aid to the realization of this aim, the author presents here a method of determining approximate gas turbine performance at various operating conditions.
