WHAT ' S NEW in Brake Linings 590212

A COMPARISON of the capabilities and weaknesses of organic and metal linings shows that neither is completely satisfactory. The author analyzes advantages and disadvantages of both.

The author believes that the competition between organic and metallic friction materials will produce the effective brake lining of the future.
