Piston Rings for Diesel Engines - Effect of Keystone Angle on Oil Consumption 710815

The effects on oil consumption of keystone piston rings dimensioned for OD contact with the piston groove have been compared to the effects of keystone rings dimensioned for ID contact with the groove in a statistically designed experiment utilizing a diesel engine at two different power output levels.
