This paper outlines the chemical and physical properties of Kraton G compounds, a three-block polymer. The properties of the new product include excellent ozone resistance, good ultraviolet resistance, a broad range of service temperatures, excellent oxidative stability, and good compression set. The advantages offered include a more rubbery quality at -20°F, easier processing, easier painting, and greater heat stability. The compound is applicable to exterior decorative inpact resistance parts, soft interior decorative parts, and general molded and mechanical parts of automotive vehicles.
